I’ve been going back and working on my adolescence these days.
-
A stage when you are afraid of nothing, but of everything
-
A stage when you want to be alone, but next to someone
-
A stage when you are not afraid of death, though it scares
-
A stage when a heartbreak aches so much that you don’t mind dying
-
A stage when you want to be free, but you are not allowed
-
A stage when you are urged to act like an adult, but you just don’t know how to
-
A stage when hunger creeps up on you but being fat is a “penalty point.”
-
A stage when you just want to be you, but don’t even know yourself much
-
A stage when you want to leave your childhood behind, but would like your mom to hold you in her arms every single night
-
A dreadfully criticized stage, but one that goes with you the rest of your life
🙂 Let’s protect our teenagers. Forget about myths, greenness or acne lotions, and let’s spread love, comprehension, hugs, freedom and more listening. 🙂
Let’s move forward in this beautiful and satisfying path which is educating our children with love, respect, and common sense.
